I’m sharing the exact conversation from our Google Meet and how it went. Also, our call lasted about 45 minutes and involved a lot of technical details about the app, but I won’t waste your time explaining all that here. I’m focusing on how I closed the deal — and how you can do the same without lowering your value.

Client: Hey Rohit, thanks for hopping on the call.

Me: Hey Mark (can’t reveal name), no problem at all. Glad we could connect. So, you’re looking to build a mobile app, right? I love bringing app ideas to life. Tell me, what’s your budget looking like for this project? ( We exchanged some emails earlier )

Mark: Well, I’ve got around $1,500 to work with for now.

Me: $1,500. Okay. And how important is this app to your business, Mark!

Mark: It’s pretty crucial, Rohit. I think a mobile app could really take my business to the next level.

Me: I hear you. So, what specific problem are you hoping to solve with this app for $1,500?

Mark: We need to connect with customers in a more engaging way, build loyalty, and drive more sales.
