Mobile phones have officially become old tech!

This article is for all the tech enthusiasts out there. If you’re passionate about technology, you’re going to love what’s coming next.

It’s 2024, and we’re witnessing incredible advancements due to AI.

Everyday gadgets are evolving at a rapid pace, but what about mobile phones?

In my opinion, adding new features or integrating AI like ChatGPT or Gemini into phones isn’t true innovation.

I’m not just talking about the iPhone here particularly, but let’s use it as an example.

In 2024, the latest iPhone update introduced a dedicated camera button as a new “innovation.”

Seriously?

Is that what we call progress?

I own both an iPhone and a Google Pixel, and honestly, pulling out my phone just to check notifications feels outdated.

It’s also becoming a problem for some people — checking their phones for a quick update often turns into hours of scrolling through Instagram or TikTok.

This addictive nature is a downside of phones that makes them feel like old technology.

So, What’s the New Tech, and Where Are We Headed?
